Puget Chamber Winds does not follow the standard orchestra and band practice of having fixed chair or stand assignments. Instead, we draw on a pool of musicians for each instrument who rotate assignments depending on instrumentation and availability. The practice of having a pool of rotating musicians extends to conductors as well.
